Harriet L. Franks, age 91, of Xenia, passed away unexpectedly Thursday January 4, 2024 at her residence. She was born July 15, 1932 the only child of Dana and Dorothy Lynch.

In addition to her parents, Harriet was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Franks; son: Gary Franks, daughter: Pamela Jenkins, and grandson: Travis Franks.

She is survived by her daughter: Regina Caudill of Xenia and son: Tracy (Cindy) Franks of Texas and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Harriet had been an operator with Ohio Bell and then later with Wright Patterson Air Force Base. She graduated from Xenia High School. Harriet enjoyed knitting and attended Bethel Community Church. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and was a loving mother and grandmother.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Wednesday, January 10th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with Rev. John Lockwood officiating. She will be interred at Valley View Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday until the time of service at the funeral home.
