Helen M. Rose, 91, of Xenia, died Friday, November 12, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton.

She was born February 11, 1930, in Sabina, the daughter of Esty W. and Jennie (A. (Mendenhall) Spurlock.

Helen is survived by three daughters, Linda (Fred) Romine of Virginia, Kay (David) French of Xenia and Sandra (Terry) Lambert of Huber Heights; nine grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; sisters, Aileen Rose and Margaret (Ronald) King; son-in-law, Jim McWhorter.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Gayne in 2018; daughter, Carol McWhorter; granddaughter, Melissa K. Blazer; sisters, Dorothy Potts and Mitzi Salyer; brother, Richard Spurlock.

Private services will be held.  McColaugh Funeral home is serving the family.
