James A. Isaac, age 70, of Jamestown, passed away Friday, August 7, 2026 at his residence.

He was born October 14, 1955 in Martin, Kentucky the son of Arthur and Alberta (Hall) Isaac.  James graduated from Northeastern High School in Springfield and the Clark County Joint Vocational School and proudly served in the US Navy for 16 years. He was also a truck driver James was a good husband. He enjoyed fishing. Based on his declining health he couldn't do as much as he wanted, but he did delight in tinkering around the garage.

James is survived by his wife, Linda (Pollock) Isaac, whom he married September 3, 2016; children: Kelly (Amanda) Pollock, Jamie (Thomas) Smith, Jessica (Robert) Isaac and Nicole (Mick) Goodman; step children: Krystal (Brent) Neal and Doug (Lexi) Dailey; sisters: Annis (Ron) Griffith and Bonnie Wilson; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be held 10:30 AM, Saturday, August 15th, at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia, where visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow in Cedarville North Cemetery.
