James R. "Jim" Gilliam, 73, of Jamestown, died Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Kettering Medical Center.

He was born April 28, 1948, in Xenia, the son of Leonard and Waneta (Russell) Gilliam.  Jim was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  He retired from the GM Brake Division.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and farming.

He is survived by his daughter, Kelly (Alex) Sanarov; son, Aaron (Doris) Gilliam; grandchildren, Kyle Gilliam, Maddie Sanarov and Vinny Sanarov; step-grandchildren, Sarah Anderson, Corey Clark and Diana (David) Setty.  Jim was preceded in death by his wife Pamela (Stethem) in 2000; and sister, Elaine Reed.

Funeral service will be held 11:30 AM Monday February 14 ^th at McColaugh Funeral Home, where visitation will be held 10:30 AM until the time of service.  Interment will be held at Silvercreek New Cemetery.
