James D. Murray, age 82, of Xenia, passed away February 11, 2026 at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Ft. Pierce, Florida.

He was born July 27, 1943 in Xenia the son of Myron and Eleanor (Anderson) Murray. Together with his wife, James owned and operated J & J Electric form many years. He enjoyed spending winters in Florida with his wife.

James is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Gene (Harner); son: Jarrett (Terri) Murray; grandchildren: Amanda (Phillip) Tucker; Courtney Murray and Megan Murray; great grandchildren: Brantley Tucker; Landon Cardwell; Holden Tucker and Anabelle Cocklin; brother: Ted (Sherry) Murra; sister-in-law: Nancy Murray; and his aunt: Dorthy Scott.  His son Jay Murray and brother Mike Murray are deceased.

Memorial service will be held at a later date.
