James Steven "Jeff" Waters, age 63, of Vandalia, passed away unexpectedly at Grandview Hospital on December 25, 2023. He was born July 18, 1960 the son of Thomas J. and Dorothy Marie (Daniels) Waters, both deceased.

Jeff is survived by his siblings: Freida (Jim) Dearth of SC; Mary (Marlet) Hawkins of PA; Frances (Donald) Proctor of Xenia; and David (Judy) Peters of Chillicothe, OH; his longtime companion, Carla Pearson; and extended family Bobbie Jo Ross; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Jeff served in the US Army. He was a kind and helpful person.

He will be buried with military honors 10 AM Friday, January 12th at the Dayton National Cemetery.
