James W. "Jay" Wilges age 60, of Xenia, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, October 23, 2021 at his residence. He was born December 29, 1960 in Dayton, the son of Maxine (Whitehair) and Orville D. Wilges Sr., both preceded him in death.

He is survived by his daughters: Shelby and August Wilges; brother: Orville Dean Wilges Jr. (Irene) of New Lebanon, and sister: Barbara Jo Kelly of Xenia; mother-in-law: Sheila Johnson of Xenia as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Jay had been a mechanic with John Deere for 17 years. He was everyone's handyman and a loving father.

Services will be held 11:30 AM Saturday, November 13 ^th at Evangelical United Methodist Church, 195 W. Third St., Xenia with Pastor Thomas Hite officiating. Friends may call from 10:30 AM Saturday November 13 ^th until the time of service at the church.
