Janet S. Huffman, age 95, of Xenia, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born March 7, 1931 in Wilmington, Ohio the daughter of Raymond and Reba (Kinnamon) Stingley.

In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her husband: Donald R. Huffman; son: Alan R. Huffman; her brother: Raymond Stingley Jr.; and sisters: Ruth Kohlmorgan, Dorothy Devoe, Jean Hartsock and Betty Wall.

She is survived by her daughter: Sharon (Steve) Cox of Columbus; grandson: Samuel (Jessica Zemany) Huffman; sister: Barbara Davis as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Janet graduated from Kingman High School, Class of 1949. She was a member of the Aldora #262 OES. She and her husband were instrumental in the operations of the monthly blood drives at the Xenia Masonic Temple. She always baked all the cookies for the event. In addition to baking, Janet loved to sew. She was the family caretaker, with a generous heart.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Tuesday, March 31st at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM Tuesday. Burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bowersville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
