Jayne A. Beam, age 63, of Xenia, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born February 16, 1960 in Dayton, the daughter of Lester L. and Lillie Mae (Pope) Carter.

In addition to her parents, Jayne was preceded in death by her daughter: Melissa Beam; sister: Linda Guyton; nephew: Travis Henderson and mother-in-law: Betty Beam.

Jayne is survived by her husband: Ronald Beam; her son: Kevin Beam; sister: Diane (Steve) Starbuck; brother: Christopher Carter; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends including Gale LaPointe and Jenny Monroe. Her family would like to thank her sister-in-law and caregiver, Jackie Stewart.

The family would also like to thank the many doctors, nurses and staff who have cared for Jayne during her lengthy illness with cancer.

Jayne was a member of St. Brigid Catholic Church, 312 Fairground Rd., Xenia where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 AM Friday, August 4th. Visitation for family and friends will be held immediately prior at the church beginning at 10 AM Friday.   She will be buried beside her daughter at St. Brigid Cemetery.
