Jeffrey George Harris, 70, of Wilberforce died Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at Chamberlain Healthcare Center in Cincinnati.

He was born September 7, 1954, in Xenia the son of Charles and Georgia (Hall) Seagraves.  Jeff was a veteran serving in the Marine Corps.  He loved fishing, nature, camping, being outdoors and playing cards.  He was a great storyteller and jokester.  Jeff retired in 2013 after 29 years of service with Central State University.

Jeff is survived by his  wife, Gail (Anderson); children, Ijaya (John) Brashears of Atlanta, GA, Cassandra (Stacey) Adams of Xenia and Keyona Harris of Xenia; step-children, Tamara (Jacque) Beasley of Xenia, Whitney Davenport of Xenia and Rochan Harris of Wilberforce; 19 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sister, Rosalyn "Sissy" Harris of Xenia; sister-in-law, Alesia Austin of Xenia; and a host of close friends and family.  He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Harris; mother and step-father, Georgia and Harold Seagraves; brother, Rodney Austin.

Funeral service will be held 11:30AM, Monday, December 16th, at McColaugh Funeral Home in Xenia, with Rev. Kevin Cooper Sr. officiating, where visitation will be held from 10:30 AM until the time of service.  A repass will follow immediately after the service at the United AME Church, 286 E. Church Street, Xenia.
