Jeffrey G. Herald, 58, of Jamestown died Friday February 17, 2023 at his home.

He was born January 29, 1965, in Jamestown, the son of John Franklin and Vonda Lean (Ison) Herald.  Jeff enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing.He was a man of few words, but when he spoke you heard him.

Jeffrey is survived by wife Virginia (Marsden); daughter, Karri Herald; son, Adam (Amanda) Herald; grandchildren, Makenize Herald, Adam Herald II, Makayla Herald, Gracie Scott and Craig Scott Jr.; mother, Vonda Lean (Ison) Herald; sisters, Connie (Eddie) Payton, Sue (Clarence) Payton, Diane Herald and Bonnie (Vaughn) Hoop; brothers, Tim and Bob Herald; sisters-in-law, Valerie (William) Beam and Kathy (Tom) Sefton; brother-in-law, Fred (Robin) Marsden.  He was preceded in death by his father, John Franklin Herald; father and mother-in-law, Fred and Lila Marsden; and brother-in-law, Tim Marsden.

Funeral service will be held 11:30 AM Wednesday, February 22 ^nd , at McColaugh Funeral Home in Xenia, where visitation will be held 10:30 AM until the time of service.  Interment will follow at Silvercreek-New Cemetery.
