Jerrold Gregory "Greg" Bope, 64, of Cedarville, died Monday, April 27, 2026, at his home.

He was born October 18, 1961, in Dayton the son of Jerrold G. Bope and Carol (Hail) Fischbach.  Greg was a veteran of the U.S. Air force.  He earned his Associates degree from ITT in computers and worked as a computer engineer.  Greg loved music and played in several local bands, and loved to play chess.

Greg is survived by his wife of 42 years, Linda (Brakeall); step-children, Fred (Chris) Hanson, Michelle (Bob) Brandenburg, William (Mara Jones) Hanson, Bertha Shaw, Charles (Melissa) Hanson, Christopher (Rachel) Duncan and Dale Hanson; 17 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; brothers, Michael (Mari) Fischbach and Mervin (Meggan) Fischbach; step-mother, Harriet Bope; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerrold G. Bope and Carol (Hail) Fischbach; and step-son, Eric Hanson.

A Celebration of Greg's Life will be held at a later date.
