Jerry David Hilderbrand, 63, of Coldwater and formerly of Xenia died Thursday at Lima Memorial Hospital, after a brief battle with cancer.

He was born February16, 1960, in Xenia, the son of Jerry E. and Eva Joan (McKnight) Hilderbrand.  Jerry was an avid outdoorsman and loved spending time with his family.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Marcia (Suttles); son, Jeremy (Kimberly) Hilderbrand; sisters, Cindy (Marty) Conley and Dorothy Engle; step-daughter, Ciera Hill; step-sons, Jacob and Shawn Hill; several grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Jean Suttles; and several nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Hayden Hill; step-daughter, Nichole Hill; nephew, Tommy Bradley; and father-in-law, Bob Suttles.

Private services will be held at a later date.  McColaugh- Massie Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
