Jill E. Bloomer, age 56, of Xenia, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021 at University Hospital in Cincinnati following a motorcycle accident. Jill was born October 19, 1964 in Elmira, New York. She was preceded in death by her mother: Bonnie (Smith) Pratt; father: James Pratt and step brother: Patrick Barrett.

She is survived by her beloved husband: Roger Bloomer, whom she married February 14, 2010; her son: Brandon Couch, both of Xenia; step daughter: Jacqueline (Derek) Hooker of Cape Coral, FL; step mother: Judy Pratt; brother: James Pratt; step brothers: Stephen Barrett and William E. "Coppy" Hawk, all of New York; 7 grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jill was a graduate of Elmira High School, New York. She received both her Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Psychology from Wright State University. She was a Senior Analyst with CAMO; private counselor with New Creations Counseling Center and was the secretary for Alpha Omega Transportation Company.  She was also the children's pastor at Xenia Christian Center, where she was an active member. Jill especially loved to ride her motorcycle. She had a heart of gold and was always putting others before herself.

Services will be held 5 PM Tuesday, May 25 ^th at Xenia Christian Center with Pastor Chaz Stapleton officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 PM Tuesday until the time of service at the church. She will be buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira, NY.
