Joe E. Stevens, age 70, of Xenia, passed away Friday, May 20, 2022 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born December 10, 1951 in Xenia, the son of John "Jack" and Stella (Miller) Stevens.

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his siblings: Jackie Honshul; Beverly Getchell; Gregory Stevens and Virginia Back.

He is survived by his son: Sean Stevens of Xenia; and sisters: Mona (Jim) Larch and Kathy Dodge; as well as numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Joe had been involved with the Railroad most of his life. He enjoyed restoring and tinkering with old classic cars. He liked music and playing pranks on people. He also had a green thumb and enjoyed landscaping his yard.

Services will be held 11:30 AM Wednesday, May 25th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., with Bishop Eric Barnes officiating. Visitation will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday until the time of service at the funeral home. He will be buried at Woodland Cemetery at a later date.
