John Charles "Chuck" Knowles,  age 66, of Xenia, passed away Friday, November 11, 2022 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born January 18, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Johnny and Mearlene (Howard) Knowles.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his sister: Theresa Farthing.

He is survived by his wife, Terisa (Lemaster) Knowles, whom he married March 6, 1981; his son: Joshua (Amber) Knowles of Xenia; step daughter: Misty Leffel of Columbus; brothers: Jeff (Sherry) Knowles and Scott (Melissa) Knowles; 5 grandchildren: Johnathan, Savannah, Ashlynn, Jase and Annie Knowles; 2 great grandchildren: Willow and Colson; as well as a numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends, including Terry Watson; Phil Beekman; Keith Doster and Steve Keaton. John is also survived by his dogs: Waldo and Bruno.

He was a graduate of Xenia High School and retired from General Motors in 2004.  After his retirement, he drove for Greene CATS.

Services will be held 4 PM Friday, November 18 ^th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Visitation will be held 3 PM Friday until the time of service at the funeral home.
