Joseph Donald Sanders, age 58, of Hillsboro, OH, passed away on May 28, 2022. He was born on February 21, 1964 in Springfield, OH to the late Jesse Sanders and Donna (Jay) (Lieurance) Heinz.

Joseph is survived by his wife of 32 years: Kimberly (Barker) Sanders of Hillsboro; children: Natalie DeHaven of Lebanon, Zach (Kim) Wyatt of Loveland, and Lacy (Josh) Highley of Hillsboro; bonus daughter: Shelby (T.J.) Michael of Hillsboro; siblings: James "Dennis" (Monica) Sanders, Deneese (Rod) Hilderbrandt, Jesse "J.D." (Joyce) Sanders, Vicki Hilderbrand, Cindy (David) Fisher, Debra (R.B.) Jones, and Chris (Susan) Heinz; grandchildren: Blake, Jesse Jr., Colton, Elijah, Mareah, Laine, Charlie, Gracelynne, Macie, Emery-Ann, Harland, and Wyonna; in-laws: Jerry (Judy) Barker of Springfield. In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his daughter: Jody Lynne Sanders; granddaughter: Kennedy Rose.

Joe was a 1982 graduate of Greene County Career Center majoring in Automotives. He was a member of Moose Lodge 1068 and 2402. Joe was employed by Danis Construction as a carpenter.

Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 PM on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at McColaugh Funeral Home, Xenia, OH. The family has requested casual or your favorite Bengals outfit. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
