Joyce D. Adams, age 67, of Xenia, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Hospice of Dayton.

She was born March 22, 1954 in Dayton the daughter of Eugene and Lucille Hendrickson.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Adams; infant daughter: Wendy Adams; sisters: Connie Hendrickson and Gloria Pickett; and brother: Richard Hendrickson.

Her survivors include her daughter: Julie Adams of Xenia; son: Shawn Adams of Cedarville; brother: Michael Hendrickson (Nancy Scott); Carol (David) Covey; Eugene (Mickey) Hendrickson; Edward Hendrickson; Robert (Lily) Hendrickson; special niece: Sissy Hendrickson; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Joyce had been an aide with several nursing homes in the area, including: Heathergreene, Legacy and Liberty Nursing Homes.

She enjoyed attending Kil-Kare Races, where she sold ice cream to the drivers. She also delivered the Citrus County Chronicle when she lived in Florida. She truly loved her family and was a wonderful mother. She was always available to help and will be forever missed by her children.

Services are scheduled for 11 AM Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the First Assembly of God, 204 E. Market St., Xenia.
