Juanita Ellen (Smith) Roush, age 71, of Xenia OH, passed away on April 1, 2024. 'Nita' was born on May 20, 1952 in Moline, IL and was the daughter of Pauline and Leonard Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Frank Smith. She is survived by her husband Richard T. Roush, daughter Lindsay Nicole (Riley) Garrett, son-in-law Matt Garrett, and granddaughters Sophia Garrett and Cassandra Ellen (Garrett) River. Nita was a 1969 graduate of Tecumseh High School, New Carlisle OH and of Sinclair Community College, Dayton OH in Respiratory Therapy. She was employed as a respiratory therapist at St. Elizabeth Hospital for many years. Nita loved nothing more than spending time with her family, many friends and her devoted pets. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions should be made to the American Heart Association.
