Judith Arlene Christian, age 67, currently of Fairborn and formerly of Springfield, passed away Friday, June 28, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born January 2, 1957 in Xenia, one of thirteen children born to Charles and Melvina (Peterson) Toner.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband: Hiram Christian; a son: Robert Shoemaker; and 7 brothers and sisters, most recently Robbie Toner.

Judy is survived by her children: Billie (Butch) Travis of Fairborn; Misty (Logan) Berk of FL; and Hiram (Alexandria) Christian, Jr. of Fairborn; 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; siblings: Rusty Toner, Linda Kingsolver, Beth Sprinkle, Sandy Dawes, and Kathy Bates; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Judy had been a waitress at both the Golden Corral and Ryan's Family Steakhouse located in Springfield, Ohio. She loved searching for a good deal at garage sales and thrift stores. She especially loved her family and grandchildren.

Services will be held 11:30 AM Wednesday, July 3rd at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with Rev. Donald Payne officiating.  She will be buried at Woodland Cemetery, Xenia. Visitation will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday until the time of service at the funeral home.
