Julie Marie Kapolka, 2 days old, died Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Cincinnati Children's Hospital.

She was born November 23, 2025, the daughter of Tyler and Ruth (Thorne) Kapolka.

Julie was named after her mother's patroness, St. Julie Billiart. She shares her middle name with her late great-grandmother, Helen Marie Kapolka. Her middle name also honors Our Lady of Guadalupe, whose feast day was Julie's original due date.

Julie was baptized by her father moments after her birth, and was confirmed the following day by Rev. Patrick Blenman.

Julie is survived by her loving parents, Tyler and Ruth Kapolka; brother, Andrew Kapolka; sister, Veronica Kapolka; grandparents, Jeffrey and Debra Kapolka and Paul and Janet Thorne; great-grandmother, Martha Moorefield; aunts and uncles, Kelsey Kapolka, Rev. Michael Kapolka, and Andrew (Megan) Thorne, and by many other loving family members.

Even though her time on Earth was short, she will always be lovingly remembered.

Visitation will held 4:00-6:00 PM Thursday, December 4th, at McColaugh Funeral Home in Xenia.  Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM Friday December 5th, at St. Brigid Catholic Church.  Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
