Karen E. Charles, age 77 of Xenia, passed away Thursday, April 7, 1922 at Riverside Health Center in Dayton. She was born April 26, 1944 in Xenia, the daughter of Carl and Lenna (Woods) Linkhart.

In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her son: Aaron Charles; brothers: Norman, Steven, Ronald and Kenneth Linkhart and a step sister: Georgianna Dudley.

Karen is survived by children: Christopher Charles of Dayton and Alicia Matson of CA; sister: Marsha Mullins of Xenia; 6 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Karen was a loving mother and grandmother and an overall great person. She was loved by everyone. She had retired from the Hallmark Store in Xenia.

Services will be held 11:30 AM Thursday, April 14 ^th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Visitation will be held 10:30 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
