Kim L. Rickels, age 75, of Xenia, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at her residence. She was born March 16, 1948, the daughter of William and Fawntella (Barnes) Rickels, both deceased.

Kim is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Robert D. and Rhonda Rickels; granddaughters: Alicia and Alexis Rickels; special friend: John Stephens; sisters: Ann Hunt and Kay (Joe) Riojas; brothers: William (Joyce) and Thomas (Donna) Rickels; numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Zero.

Kim retired from Greene County Health Dept. after 33 years of service. She enjoyed working with the public and made many friends there. She graduated from Xenia High School and Miami Jacobs Business College. Her favorite past time was being with her granddaughters.

Services will be held 11:30 AM Friday, June 23, 2023 at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with Rev. William L. Harden officiating. She will be interred at Woodland Cemetery, Xenia. Visitation will be held 10:30 AM Friday until the time of service at the funeral home.
