Obituary

Kross R.W. Dennehy, 24, of Xenia, went to be with the Lord March 25, 2026.

Born on October 2, 2001, in Xenia, Kross was the beloved son of William Bruce and Heather Dennehy. He was a loving father, a cherished son, and someone whose life touched many around him. Kross deeply loved his family, treasured time with those close to him, and found joy in music, driving, and being with people. He had proudly earned his Black Belt in karate, a reflection of his perseverance, strength, and determination.

Kross leaves behind a silence that feels impossible to fill. He was incredibly charming and charismatic-the kind of person who could light up any room simply by walking into it. He carried himself with confidence and was apologetically himself, a presence that will never be forgotten. He had a big heart, marked by selflessness and generosity, always willing to help anyone in need without hesitation. His intelligence was undeniable, matched only by his quick wit and ability to find humor even in life's most serious moments. He had a special gift for making people laugh when they needed it most, and that gift was truly rare. He was deeply loved, and his absence will be felt forever.

Those who knew Kross will remember his presence, his love for others, and the many memories shared with him that will remain precious in their hearts. He loved to read Proverbs, and his favorite verses were Matthew 6:9-13 and Psalms 23:4 to reflect on with his fiancée. Though his passing leaves deep sorrow, his family takes comfort in the truth that God is near to the brokenhearted, and they rest in His grace and mercy during this difficult time. In seasons of grief, they trust the Lord to carry them, strengthen them, and surround them with His peace that surpasses understanding. His family finds comfort in knowing Kross is truly at peace and finally able to rest being with our Lord and Savior.

Kross is survived by his loving mother, Heather; fiancée, Kate Jeppson; beloved son, Kaivon Jeppson; nephew, Xavier Dennehy; brothers, Jordan Dietsch and Austin Taylor; grandmother, Virginia Dennehy; aunts, Gail Miller, Roberta Bruce, Kim (Adam) Cline, and Melinda Jones; uncles, Derek (Jeannine) Dennehy and Robert (Michelle) Bruce; cousins, Dominik "Hydro," Deacon, Hailey (Andrew) Munch, Isaac (Tanner), and Ivan Dennehy, Kaylee Bruce, and many more cousins, family, and friend's he adored. He was preceded in death by his father, William Bruce; sister, Kiyah Kianna Simone Dennehy; brother, Kentrell Jenkins; grandfather, Robert Bruce Sr.; grandmothers, Mary Bruce and Rachel Rader; and great-uncle, Donnie Rader.Funeral services will be held at  the First Church of Christ, 441 Ledbetter Road, Xenia at 11:30 AM Wednesday, April 1st, with visitation from 10:30 AM until the time of service.
