Laura Jean Brakeall, age 53, of Xenia, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Kettering Medial Center as a result of COVID19. She was born May 2, 1968 in Xenia the daughter of Danny and Shirley (Shope) Brakeall.

Laura is survived by her parents, brother: Danny F. Brakeall and nephews, whom she treated like her own children: Joshua and Jonathan Brakeall; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Laura graduated from Greenview High School. She was currently an associate with WalMart in Xenia, where she had been a faithful employee for over 30 years.

Services will be held 11:30 AM Friday, October 1, 2021 at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Interment to follow in Valley View Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 10:30 AM Friday until the time of service at the funeral home.
