Laura C. Kendrick, age 90, of Xenia, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Wright Rehab Center. She was born December 9, 1932 in Pebworth, Kentucky, the daughter of Velma (McClanahan) and Otis Combs.

In addition to her parents, Laura was preceded in death by her husband: James Kendrick; sons: James Kendrick, Jr. and Wendell Kendrick; granddaughter: Chasidy Kendrick; and brother: Raymond Combs.

She is survived by children: Charlene (Larry) Landis and Lyndon (Lisa) Kendrick; daughter in law: Tegwen Kendrick; 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Laura had been a member of the Xenia Nazarene Church and worked as an aide with the preschool. She was an accomplished seamstress, making numerous wedding dresses, including her daughter and daughter-in-law's dresses. She was also an avid quilter and enjoyed traveling to various quilt shows.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nazarene Church, Missions Fund, 1204 W. Second St., Xenia, OH 45385.
