LaVerna Marie Williams, 90, of Xenia, died Friday, August 25, 2023, at Greene Memorial Hospital.

She was born July 3, 1933, in Butler County the daughter of Howard and Ethel (Rager) Ashmore.  LaVerna retired from the Housekeeping department at Hospitality Home in Xenia.

LaVerna is survived by her children, Edwin Williams, Mary (Dan) Musselman, William (Debra) Williams and Diane (Bob) Mickle; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sister, Judy Arnett; and brother, Don Ashmore.  She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Gertrude Ashmore; son, James Williams; granddaughter, Brittiny Williams; sisters and brothers, Mildred Jane Kinman, Margaret Milek, Bob Ashmore, Pat Ruddick, Ken Ashmore, Janet Law and William Ashmore.

Funeral service will be held 11:30 AM Tuesday, September 5th at McColaugh Massie Funeral Home in Xenia.  Visitation will be held 10:30 AM until the time of service at the Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
