Linda R. Garrett, 78, of Xenia died Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Soin Medical Center.

She was born November 25, 1947, in Columbus, the daughter of Walter Al and Rachel (Callahan) Beale.  Linda worked for many years as a seamstress at Capitol Cleaners for many years.  Linda, and her husband, Bill, opened their home to a variety of others (including Linda's Dad, Mom, sister and other family and friends) for whoever needed housing at the time, for days, weeks, or months as needed.  Linda was a very positive person, good Christian woman, a great seamstress, a terrific cook, and a loving wife, mother, sister and Grandma! She will be greatly missed.

Linda is survived by her husband, William "Bill"; daughter, Melissa (Gregory Kehm) Garrett; sons, John and Matt (Lindsay) Garrett; grand children, Will, Adam, Sophia and Cassie Garrett; sister, Suzi Dennis; and special friends, Andrea and Cheryl.  She was preceded in death by her son, Steve; parents, Al and Rachel (Callahan) Beale; and sister, Nancy Beale.

Funeral service will be 11:30 AM Tuesday, July 14th, at McColaugh Funeral Home in Xenia, where visitation will be held from 10:30 AM until the time of service.  Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery in Xenia.  For those that wish, they may send flowers or make send a donation to The Daily Bread at www.OBDM.org.
