Lois Ann (Beard) Mangan, 88, of Greene County, OH. passed away suddenly on October 8, 2026. She was born in Piqua, OH. on May 2, 1938.
Lois was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas E. Mangan; her son, Richard L. Mangan; her great-grandson, James Michael Peterson III; and a great-great-granddaughter, Kimberly Coates.
She is survived by her loving children, Lynne Graves, Mary Terrell, and Noel Mangan. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Jammie Snoddy, Nicole, Katie Shaw, Rachel and Charlie Terrell, and Danny, Troy, and Alayna Mangan, along with several great-grandchildren, extended family members, and many dear friends.
Lois loved her family deeply and treasured every moment spent with them. She was always ready for an adventure and enjoyed sharing stories of her travels with friends and loved ones. Whether recounting a road trip, a family gathering, or a simple day spent with those she cared about, Lois had a gift for making every story come alive.
She was the kind of person who could sit down with anyone and make them feel heard. When someone came to her with life's challenges, she would listen, offer wisdom, and often share a story from her own experiences to help them through. Her compassion, understanding, and genuine interest in others made her a trusted confidant and treasured friend.
Known as a true social butterfly, Lois never met a stranger. She could strike up a conversation with just about anyone and leave them smiling. If you stopped by to visit, chances are she had donuts, snacks, or some treat waiting to share. Her home and her heart were always open. Lois will be remembered for her kindness, her laughter, her adventurous spirit, and the love she gave so freely to her family and friends.
Though she will be deeply missed, her stories, her warmth, and the memories she created will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Forever loved, forever remembered.
