Loretta Jane (Carter) Hart of Jamestown born June 8, 1936 near Xenia Ohio passed away at Hospice of Dayton on October 2, 2021.

Loretta married the love of her life, William "Bill" Hart October 23,1954 and together they had 5 Children. Steve (Lois) Hart of Jamestown, Kathleen (Roger) Caraway of Jamestown, Doug (Diana) Hart of Jamestown, Tim (Hollie) Hart of Jamestown, Tom (Lisa) Hart of Fairborn. She was blessed with 14 Grandchildren, 23 Great-Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews all of whom she loved dearly.

Loretta is preceded in death by her parents Ira and Irene Carter, husband William "Bill" Hart, and brother Daniel Carter.

She is also survived by her loving sisters Barbara (Leon) Bryan, Carolyn (Robert) Edwards, and Linda Bryan all of Jamestown.

Loretta was a longtime member of Grape Grove Church of Christ where she loved serving her church family with her helping hands. She loved preparing for Sunday lunch and was always on the cleanup committee. Loretta was also a member of the Jamestown Families Cancer Care and happy to help however she may be needed.

Graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, October 8, 2021, at Silvercreek Cemetery-New in Jamestown.  In lieu of flowers please make donations to Jamestown Families Cancer Care, PO Box 35, Jamestown, OH 45335
