Mardell Gentner, age 92, of Xenia, OH went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 13, 2025 at Harmony Healthcare. She was born on May 7, 1932 in Riviera Beach, FL to the late Rupert and Nellie (Miller) Harden.

Mardell is survived by her four children: Ray (Judy) Lewis of Jackson, OH; Rhonda (Tom) Norvell of Xenia; Karen Turner of Xenia; and John Jr. (Kathryn) Gentner of Worthington, OH; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mardell was preceded in death by her husband: John E. Gentner; 6 siblings; and daughter-in-law: Chris Lewis.

Mardell was a member at Trinity Christian Assembly in Beavercreek. She was a Sunday School Teacher for 60 years between Xenia Church of God and Trinity Christian Assembly. Family was a cornerstone to her life. Mardell will be remembered as a loving person, often sewing for others. She also loved to shop in her free time.

Services will be held at 11:30AM on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Trinity Christian Assembly, 1146 Grange Hall Road, Beavercreek, OH 45430, with Pastor Bill Rowe officiating. Interment will follow in Valley View Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 10:30-11:30 AM on Wednesday at the church.
