Marion "Rusty" Howard Hershner, age 65, of Spring Valley, OH passed away on January 22, 2025 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born on March 10, 1959 in Xenia, OH to Lois (June) and the late Marion Hershner.

Rusty is survived by his sons: Ryan Hershner of Spring Valley and Michael (Amy) Hershner of Waynesville; grandson: Michael (MJ) Jr.; sisters: Beth Hershner and Sandi Wake; and numerous family and friends. In addition to his father, Rusty was preceded in death by his wife: Rebecca Lynn Hershner.

Rusty was a graduate of Xenia High School. He loved communicating on his HAM radio, using the call sign KB8JPQ, and attending the HAM radio convention. Rusty also enjoyed listening to the Cincinnati Reds games on the radio. Rusty will be remembered as a kind man, who you could count on for anything.
