Marjorie Ann Howard, age 88, of Xenia, passed away Tuesday, May 14th at Hospice of Dayton. She was born November 9, 1935 in Laurel, Indiana, the daughter of Charles E. and Eva Mae (Plough) Barnes.

In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, John Howard; and a brother: Charles Barnes; and long-time companion Bernard Brown.

Marjorie is survived by her children: Amy Howard of Xenia and Mark Howard of Eaton; two brothers: Fred and Barney Barnes of Indiana.

Marjorie had been Assignment Commissioner with the Greene County Common Pleas Court. She currently a member of the Beaver United Church of Christ and formerly a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, where she spent many hours volunteering. She also enjoyed gardening.

Visitation will be held 4-6 PM Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with the funeral service beginning at 6 PM.
