Martin Lee "Marty" Stewart , age 71, of Cedarville, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Grandview Hospital. He was born in Springfield, Ohio the youngest child of Raymond L. and Hazel "Pat" Difendal Stewart.

Marty was a graduate of Madison South High School. He proudly served in the US Marine Corps and the US Air Force Reserve for a combination of over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing and golfing. He and his wife enjoyed spending their winters in Florida for numerous years.

Marty is survived by his wife, Lorelei Young Stewart, whom he married in 1971; 3 sons: Nick (Leslie) Stewart of League City, TX; Casey Stewart of Cedarville and Todd Stewart (Tara Taylor); grandchildren: Jacob, Bishop and Fallen; siblings: Ed (Sue) Stewart and Nancy Pate and life long friends: Jim (Dee) Harrison. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister: Jean.

Memorial service will be held 11:30 Friday, July 2, 2021 at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia, where the visitation will be held from 10:30 AM until the time of service.  Family and friends will be invited to share memories of Marty.
