Mary Elizabeth Griesheimer, age 80, of Xenia, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Trinity Community of  Beavercreek. She was born July 8, 1941 in Pulaski, Virginia, the daughter of Alpha A. and Josie (Hoback) Crowell.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Roy Hoback, Frank Crowell and Alpha Crowell Jr., a nephew: Michael Pummill and niece: Crystal Pummill.

She is survived by her children: Elizabeth Ann (Rick) Leighly of Xenia; James (Carol) Bond of FL; Patricia Gaunt and Charles (Laura) Routzohn of Xenia; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a sister: Patricia Fichtner; special friends: Jim, Linda and Glennis; and her little dog, Maggie.

She was a collector of dolls. She retired from Plasco, and had worked at K-Mart and Capital Cleaners. She had also attended AHOP. Mary loved her grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at the McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with Pastor Mark Brooks officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
