Mary "Maxine" Miller, age 89, of Xenia, OH passed away on March 24, 2025 at her residence. She was born on October 16, 1935 in Pike County, OH to the late Ellsworth and Delphia (Tong) Johnson.

Maxine is survived by her children: James E. (Ellen) Miller; daughter-in-law: Pam Miller; 10 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Maxine was preceded in death by her husband: Ernest Miller; son: Frank Miller; daughter: Patricia "Patty" Sesic; grandson: Ricky Grove; and siblings: Bernice Calbert and Elijah Carter.

Maxine held many local and district offices (except Secretary and Treasurer) for the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Xenia. She was also a State Chairman for Columbus School for the Blind from 2002-2003. Maxine worked part time for Sears for 17 years. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church.

Services will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at McColaugh Funeral Home, Xenia with interment to follow in Mt. Zion Park Cemetery, Beavercreek. Visitation will be held from 10:30-11:30AM on Wednesday at the funeral home.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to Mary, Mariah, Maykala, and Sanctuary Hospice for Maxine's care.
