Mary Elizabeth Walstad

Mary Walstad, a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away on the 19th of March 2024 at The Hospice of Dayton. Born in 1953 in Benson, Minnesota. Mary loved Jesus and her family. She attended Rhema Bible Training Center in 1977 in Broken Arrow, OK. She later received her Cosmetology license and worked as an instructor and had her own business for several years. Mary was a creative and enjoyed drawing, singing in choirs and on worship teams, and having fun with her family and friends. She is survived by her children Starry-Dawn (Nathan) Funk, Son, Joshua Pinkley and their Father, Bart Pinkley; Grandchildren, Alyssa, Mariah and Gabriel Funk and Colton Pinkley who she loved very much. Preceded in death by her Mom, Catherine Walstad, Father, Clarence Walstad, and Brother- Loren Walstad. Survived by her brothers, Hugh (Sherry) Walstad , Brian Walstad, Steve (Carolyn) Walstad , Sisters Kaye (Wally) Hames and Grace Castleberry and Families.

A celebration of her life will be held 11 AM Saturday, March 23 at AHOP, 282 Stelton Rd. Xenia, OH 45385.
