Michael Carl Brooks, age 64, of Xenia, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Kettering Medical Center. He was born November 17, 1957 in Xenia, the son of Robert L. and Marilyn J. (Grandle) Brooks, both deceased.

Mike was a 1977 graduate of Xenia High School and the Greene County JVS. He enjoyed bowling and hunting and previously worked at the Xenia Community Lanes. He has been employed with the Xenia Foundry since 1990. Mike is featured in the mural on the foundry wall commemorating the company's 100 ^th anniversary. He loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nola K. (Henderson) Brooks, whom he married September 14, 1985; his children: Michael R. Brooks of Xenia; Bobby L. (Jen) Brooks of San Diego and Susan (Michael) Chaney of Kettering; grandchildren: Kellcie, Alexis "Lexie" and Michael A.  "Mikey" Brooks; brothers: Richard J. (Janese) Brooks and Douglas E. Brooks, all of Xenia; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 4 PM Sunday, June 12th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with Rev. Donald Payne officiating.
