Michael M. Maxwell, age 74, of Xenia, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Trinity Community of Beavercreek. He was born May 25, 1948 in Xenia, the son of Thomas D. and Delores (Shoemaker) Maxwell.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his brother: Thomas Maxwell.

He is survived by his daughters: Mia Maxwell of Louisville, KY; Kelly (Brian) Burke of Xenia; Jamie (Jacob) Stafford of Xenia, OH; 7 grandchildren: Brittany and Devan Alexander, Kemiya and Malia Maxwell, Jaleigh and Jordan Stafford and Parker Burke; 4 great grandchildren: Javin, Javeh, Jamie and Jace Goodman; a brother: David (Karen) Maxwell of Centerville; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mike graduated from Xenia High School. He retired from General Motors-Delphi Division. He was very social and loved being around people. He liked to golf and fish, especially at Indian Lake. He was a member of the Moose and FOE Lodges at Indian Lake.

Gathering for friends and family will be held 11:30 AM -12:30 PM on Friday, May 26th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with services starting at 12:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.  He will be interred at Woodland Cemetery.
