Miriam A. Winters, age 94, of Xenia, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born at home in Dayton, Ohio on July 4, 1930, the daughter of Guy T. and Goldie V. (Spaeth) Supinger.

In addition to her parents, Miriam was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Winters in 2002; and her sisters: Frances Graham and Dorothy Johnson.

Miriam is survived by her children: Gary (Cheryl) Winters of Bellbrook; Sharon (Donald) Hirst of Bellbrook and Kimberly (Mike) Ferguson of Xenia; 6 grandchildren: Julie (Joe) Kulik; Jennifer (Jeff) Currey; Jaime (Mark) Campbell; Christy (Chris) Crutcher; Christopher (Laura) Ferguson and Alex (Amy) Ferguson; 13 great grandchildren: Brooke, Ben, Lilly, Sammy, Patrick, Baby Alice, Aiden, Ellie, Addie, Emmie, Henry, Jack and Betty; and 2 great great grandchildren: Noah and Nash; numerous other nieces and nephews; as well as a large group of non-biological family who were blessed to be considered part of Miriam's family.

Miriam graduated from Spring Valley High School, Class of 1948 and attended Beauty School. She worked for many years with the Xenia Community Schools as a secretary. She had been a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church. Miriam was an accomplished seamstress, quilter, cross-stitcher and overall crafter. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.

Funeral service will be held 11:30 AM Wednesday, January 29th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Visitation will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday until the time of service at the funeral home. She will be buried with her husband in Woodland Cemetery.
