Nancy Jane Meade, age 73, of Xenia, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023 at her residence following a long health battle. She was born November 19, 1949 in Wilmington, Ohio the daughter of William and Gladys (Shoemaker) Hayslip.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her sister: Charlotte Harrison; brother: William Hayslip; niece: Brandy Estes; great nephew: Matthew Berry; in-laws: Robert and Zora Lee (Ratliff) Meade; brothers-in-law: William Dean Meade and Murthel Gene Meade and nephew: Andrew Meade.

She  is survived by her loving husband: Robert Larry Meade, whom she married August 8, 1969; children: Daniel (Shelly) Meade and Amber Tretiak; siblings: Lavone Berry and Donna (Bobbie) Estes; grandchildren: Corey (James) Barbee; Taylor Meade; Nathan Meade; Kynzi Tretiak; great grandson: Daniel Barbee sister-in-law: Robin (Mike) Watkins and her beloved cats: Lucy and Maxwell; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Nancy graduated from Xenia High School. She was a faithful servant having a lifetime of service dedicated to Xenia Christian Center, where she was a Sunday School Secretary and more recently a member of Liberty Worship Center. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She also enjoyed cooking, especially when it involved having all the family together.

Services will be held 12 Noon Tuesday, January 24 ^th at Liberty Worship Center, 1180 Upper Bellbrook Rd., Xenia with Pastor Todd Martin officiating. Friends may call Tuesday from 10:30 AM until the time of service at the church. Burial to follow in Valley View Memorial Gardens.
