Neil D. Smith, age 70, of Jamestown, passed away Monday, December 27, 2021 at Bellbrook Nursing and Rehab after an extended illness. Neil was born in Xenia, Ohio on November 8, 1951.

He was preceded in death by his father: James Wendall Smith; brother: Darrell Smith; sister: Bonnie Lee; and brothers-in-law: Dean Huntington and Michael Lee.

Neil is survived by his mother: Glada Leach Smith Bowermaster; daughter: Michelle (Tony) Gwinn; sister: Donna Huntington; granddaughters: Alexis, Miranda and Hayley; and a great grandson: Carson.

Neil served in the US Army and graduated from Xenia High School. Anyone who knew Neil, knew he loved his motorcycles. He was proud to have ridden his motorcycle through all 48 continental states.

It was Neil's wish that following his cremation, he be scattered in North Carolina by the people he loved. The family is planning a service in the spring.
