Norma L. Sparks, age 89, of Xenia, OH passed away Monday July 26, 2021 at her residence.
She was born on April 7, 1932 in Kona, KY. to the late Roy and Elizabeth (Lovelady) Ables.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-laws: Lesa (Gregory) Morris and Yvonne (Kent)
Carter; brothers: Jack and Bill Ables; grandchildren: Lenzi Carter and Amelia Morris; great-
grandchildren: Carter and Hunter; numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband Decoy Sparks,
brothers: Jimmy and Roy Ables and sisters: Alice Houston, Ana Ruth "Top" Newsome, Emma
Brown and Evelyn Venters
Norma retired from Twist Manufacturing and loved to shop especially for her grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 12PM on Thursday July 29, 2021 at the McColaugh Funeral
Home, Xenia. Interment will follow in Valley View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from
10-12 AM on Thursday at the funeral home.
