Ora Jean "Jeanie" Pyle, 81, of Xenia, died Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Hospice of Dayton.

She was born November 11, 1943, in Newport, KY, the daughter of John H. and Anna Ethel (Morrison) Smith.  Jeanie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She loved camping, puzzles, reading, and especially Christmas and Shopping.

Jeanie is survived by her husband of 61 years, Melvin "Butch"; son, Scott (Sheila) Pyle, granddaughter, Jessica Dunn; sister, Mae Byrd; and brother, Harold Smith.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Jim Smith.

A Celebration of Jeanie's Life will be held at a later date.  McColaugh Funeral Home is serving the family.
