Patricia J. Bowermaster, age 79, of Xenia, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at Beavercreek Health and Rehab. She was born in Xenia, on October 11, 1946 the daughter of Helen (Burden) and Kenneth E. Chambliss.

In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her husband: Walter R. Bowermaster, Sr. and brother: Kenneth Chambliss, Jr.

Patty is survived by her children: Christine and Michael Waits and Walter Bowermaster, Jr., all of Xenia.

Patty retired from Hooven & Allison Manufacturing, Xenia, after 32 years of service. She found joy in gardening and watching western movies. She loved to play Bingo and Christmas was her favorite time of the year.

Funeral service will be held 12 Noon Friday, April 17th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with Rev. Donald Payne officiating. Visitation will be held 11 AM Friday until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial to follow in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia.
