Patricia D. Nooks, 71, of Xenia was called to eternal rest on July 9, 2021, at Grandview Medical Center Hospital.

She was born October 31, 1949, in Xenia, the daughter of James T. and Idella (Wilson) Nooks.  Patricia loved cooking, singing, writing poetry, crafts, and painting abstract art.  She especially loved to spend time with her family.

Patricia is survived by daughters, Taia (Tawfiq) Jabbar, Luciana Brooks and Monica (DeVon) Cockfield; son, Damon Nooks; special great grandson, Gabriel McLemore; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, James A. (Denise) Nooks and Jonathan Nooks; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Cassandra Story.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Friday, July 16, 2021 at the First United Christian Church, where visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
