Patricia L. "Pat" Waits, age 88, of Xenia, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2024 at Beavercreek Health & Rehab.   She was born March 31, 1935 in South Harriman, Tennessee, the daughter of Edna C. Johnson Tapp Walters and Walter Earl "Tennessee" Tapp.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur E. "Sam" Waits, her sister: Donna S. Blevins and friend: Orvie Dixon.  She is survived by her children: Tamra G. Jaynes; Tina L. (David) Adkins and Michael E. (Christine) Waits, all of Xenia; sister: Nancy (Larry) Hedges of Xenia; grandchildren: Brittney (Shawn) Tipton and Lindsey; great grandchildren: Darcy, Brady, AJ and Emmylou; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Pat enjoyed crocheting and collected Barbies. She enjoyed attending car shows with her husband.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Services will be held 11 AM Friday, February 9th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with Pastor John Lockwood officiating. Visitation will be held 10 AM Friday until the time of service at the funeral home. She will be interred at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
