Patrick A. Engler, age 69, of Jamestown, OH, passed away on July 20, 2026 at his residence. He was born on October 25, 1956 in Wheeling, WV to the late Frank and Jean (Comer) Engler.

Patrick is survived by his wife of 30 years: Katherine (Butts) Engler; children: Jeremey (Jenni) Wilson; Aaron (Lindsey) Engler; Jamie (Doug) Cochran, Andrew Engler; and Joshua Wilson; grandchildren: Simeon (Tiffany) and Silas Wilson, Alan Engler, Mickenzie (Tommy) Lowe, Xander Engler, and Trinity, Eli, and Noah Wilson; great grandson: Atlas Lowe; and sisters: Donna, Judy, Mary, Teresa, Joann, Elaine.

Patrick was a 1973 graduate of Wayne High School. He proudly served in the US Army 3rd Infantry Division. Patrick retired as a lineman for DP&L after 35 years of service. He was a 3rd Degree Black Belt and was an instructor at Doug Yates Karate in Xenia. He loved to play golf and spend time with his children and grandchildren. He will be missed by his beloved dogs.

Services will be held 11:30 AM Thursday August 6, 2026 at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:30 AM Thursday at the funeral home.
