Phoebe A. Hilderbrand, 87, of Xenia, died Friday, February 13, 2026 at her home.

She was born October 28, 1938, in Dayton, the daughter of Kenneth and Helen (Stafford) Butts.  Phoebe enjoyed bowling and spending time with her family.

Phoebe is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Tom) Coates and Brenda Osborne; several grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and brother, Jack (Marge) Butts.  She was preceded in death by her husband James C. Hilderbrand; daughter, Joyce Foster; sons, Ronald E. and James R. Hilderbrand; sisters, Laura Brittingham and Dorothy Ehling; brothers, Mike, William and Kenneth Butts Jr.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to caregivers and granddaughters, Tiffany Cooper, Crystal Coates and Ashley Cassidy, for their warm and loving care.

Funeral service will be 11:30 AM Thursday, February 19th, at McColaugh Funeral Home in Xenia, where visitation will be held from 10:30 AM until the time of service.  Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery.
