Phyllis Mae LaPlante, 94, of Xenia, passed on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at her residence.

She was born August 3, 1928, in Indianapolis, IN, the daughter of Walter E. and Mary Agnes (Emmerich) Humbles.

Phyllis is survived by daughters, Yanna (Steven) Brown and Penny (Robert) Stewart; son, Guy (Connie) LaPlante; grandchildren, Kirk and Bruce Brown, Garrett Stewart and Summer LaPlante; and several great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by husband, Donald C. LaPlante; parents, Walter E. and Mary Agnes (Emmerich) Humbles; brothers, Chuck and Earl Humbles; and sisters, Rita Durfey, Betty Krantz and Patricia Rieman.

Private services have been held.  McColaugh Funeral Home serving the family.
